One of the ways to make money online without paying anything first, is through Google AdSense.
If you have good content on your website, you can apply for Google AdSense.
Once the site is approved by Google, they will serve ads that are suitable to your content.
The advertisers pay Google to get their ads on websites and Google shares that money with website publishers like us.
And how do you earn money from Google AdSense?
1. Prepare a blog, or a website with good content.
2. People search for something on Google and they come to your site to read your content.
3. They like your content and also find something useful in the ads that are displayed along with your content.
4. They are looking for some information and they find these ads can give them more information.
5. So they click on the ads to get more information on whatever they are searching for.
6. Because the ad is displayed on your blog or website, Google pays a share of what it has received from advertisers to show those ads.
7. As more and more people come to your site and click on the ads you get more and more money in your account.
8. Once it accumulates to $100 Google sends a cheque to you.
9. In the beginning stages, the amount may be very little. But as you add good content to your website and as you get more visitors, your earnings will increase.
10. I suggest you start with a blog where you do not have to spend anything or a free website. As you start earning money through Google AdSense get a paid website. Paid websites get a better rank in Google Search.
11. Write about your website in local newspapers, add the link of your website to your visiting card, email signature, etc. and spread the word. Tell all your friends, colleagues, relatives, neighbours, etc. about your website.
Remember good content and good traffic are important to earn through Google AdSense.
Never waste money on products or services that promise you tens of thousands of dollars through AdSense.
Spend your time, money and energy in writing good content and spreading the word and attracting more visitors to your website. You need not worry about the standard of the ads that are shown on your website as Google takes care of it very well. They have people trained to evaluate each and every ad they receive. And machines read your content and automatically supply the best ads that is suitable for your content.
Applying for adsense is very simple. It is like applying for an email account.
1. Go to Google AdSense Site.
2. When the Google Adsense Page opens, click on the button which says Click Here to Apply.
3. Fill in the url (link) of your website, your name and other details.
4. Once you click on submit you will receive an email saying your blog /site is being processed.
5. Google will evaluate your website and then approve your blog / site for displaying Google Ads. (Good content is important to get the approval)
6. Once your blog / site is approved, Google will send you a code.
7. Add it to your blog or website. If you have created a blog with http://www.blogger.com/ , go to settings ---> Templates ---> and on the top menu you will see AdSense. Click on it and choose the type of AdSense format you want. You can immediately see a preview of how your ads will look.
8. You need to add the Google AdSense code only once. Then automatically it will display ads on all your blog posts. Make many small posts rather than one long post. Each post will have a block of ads.
9. Remember this: You MUST NEVER click on your own ads. Google will ban your AdSense account if you do so. When you visit your friends websites, if you like any of the information in the ads displayed on their site, you can click on them. But You MUST NOT click on your own ads even if you find the topic interesting.
19) Why keyword density is important ?The keyword density tool is useful for helping webmasters and SEOs achieve their optimum keyword density for a set of key terms.
Keyword density is important because search engines use this information to categorize a site's theme, and to determine which terms the site is relevant to. The perfect keyword density will help achieve higher search engine positions. Keyword density needs to be balanced correctly (too low and you will not get the optimum benefit, too high and your page might get flagged for “keyword spamming”).
read an article about how to increase adsense revenue from associate programs here is the analysis from the article
Let’s say you have a goal of earning $100,000 a year from AdSense. Is that possible? Let’s see … $100,000 divided by 365 = $274 a day. So your goal is to produce either:
274 pages which earn $1 a day or
548 pages which earn 50 cents a day or
1096 pages which earn 25 cents a day
The following are hypothetical cases. To earn $1 a day per page, you need, per page…
400 visitors, 5% click-through rate (CTR ) and average 5c payout.
Or 200 visitors, 10% CTR and an average 5c payout.
Or 100 visitors, 10% CTR, and an average 10c payout.
Or 100 visitors, 5% CTR, and an average 20c payout
Let’s assume you choose a goal somewhere around the middle, say aiming for 50 visitors per page and want 274 pages earning $1 a day. You’d need 274 x 50 = 13,700 pageviews a day.
Does that sound too tough? If so, you’d better look for more profitable keywords and ways to improve your click-through rates.
Let’s try a different scenario, You choose more profitable keywords and make your $1 on average per page from, say, 10 visitors. 274 x 10 = 2740 pageviews a day, That’s looking easier to achieve, If your average visitor sees 3 pages, you now need 913 unique visitors a day.
Is that too tough to achieve in your niche? If so, create two sites, each attracting half that number, 456 unique visitors, a day, Can’t achieve those click-through rates and payouts? Then you’ll either need more pages on your sites on more niche sites.
Please note, because of the AdSense rules, these are all hypothetical cases. I’m not allowed to give real cases. Real CTR rates and payouts vary hugely.Choose the goal which best matches your site or sites.
Then start building keyword-rich pages containing well researched, profitable keywords, and get lots of high quality links to your site.
For example, if your site is about topics such as debt consolidation, web hosting or asbestos-related cancer, you’ll earn much more per click than if it’s about free things.
